PDF electronic signature

PDF

Add an electronic signature to a PDF in your browser: hand-draw with a mouse or touch, type your name in a handwriting style, or upload a signature image. Drag the signature to position it, resize it, and adjust opacity, then export a new signed PDF. Optionally apply the signature to every page. Common uses include signing contracts, internal approvals, receipts, and authorization letters, replacing the print-sign-scan workflow. For legally binding cryptographic signatures, use a dedicated PKI tool. All processing is local — nothing is uploaded.

FAQ

Is this a legally binding digital signature?

No. This tool adds a visual electronic signature (an image of your signature) to the PDF. It is not a cryptographic PKI digital signature and does not provide tamper-proofing or certificate-based identity verification.

What is it typically used for?

Everyday signing needs: business contracts, internal approvals and reimbursement forms, receipts, authorization letters, and personal paperwork — replacing the print-sign-scan workflow. For scenarios that require a legally binding cryptographic signature (e.g. finance, legal, government compliance), use a dedicated PKI signing tool instead.

Which signature input methods are supported?

Three: draw with a mouse or touch, type your name in a handwriting-style font, or upload an existing signature image (PNG with transparency works best).

Can I place the signature on every page at once?

Yes. Enable “Apply to all pages” before exporting, and the signature will be stamped at the same position on every page.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. Everything happens locally in your browser — the PDF and your signature never leave your device.
